Innovation and entrepreneurship are at the peak in India. In order to make development a comprehensive mass movement and innovate on all fronts, MHRD, AICTE, i4c and Persistent Systems have come together to organise Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2020 – a unique Open Innovation Model for identifying new and disruptive technology innovations to solve the challenges faced in our country. It’s a non-stop product development competition, where problem statements are posed to technology students for innovative solutions. On the behalf of Institution Innovation Council, J.K.K.Nattraja College of Pharmacy, Kumarapalayam, a total of 24 teams participated in these competition. About 40 problems have been addressed by these teams with innovative solutions. Among all the teams, one team, SIXLINGSZ (S.Srinitha, R.Priyadarsini, A.Abishek, B.Sri Gubaeran, S.Ravikiran and K.Jayendiran, Fourth year, Pharm.D students), got selected for the Grand Finale SIH-2020 software category edition. The team suggested an innovative idea for the problem statement given by ministry of housing and urban affairs Under software category. The Management, Principal, Staffs and Students of J.K.K.
