🚀 250 Digital & Brand Ambassador students from each college of JKKN Educational Institutions across various disciplines went on an exciting journey to the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Thumba Equatorial Rocket Launching Station (TERLS), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on March 20, 2024 for the celebration of National Science Day (Feb 28, 2024)! 🔭🔬
🎉 This visit is started and ended smoothly under the excellent supervision and guidance of Mr. K. RANJITH – Digital Transformation Officer (DTO), JKKN Educational Institutions and Mr. N. Sasidharan, HOD – Science & Humanities, JKKN College of Engineering & Technology with the support and collaboration of our college Principals, Heads, Facilitators and Digital & Brand Ambassadors. Our aim was to spark student’s interest in science and technology on National Science Day. This immersive experience aimed to ignite their passion for innovation and discovery. 🎉
🌌 Explore: In VSSC, ISRO, Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram, students saw the exciting launch of the Rohini Rocket from TERLS. Medical students talked to doctors, while technical students chatted with scientists about space and medical instruments. From clinical instruments to space technology, every corner of VSSC was a treasure trove of knowledge waiting to be explored! 🔍
🎓 Learning Outcomes: This trip was an eye-opener! Students learned unknown facts about space science and technology. From witnessing rocket launches to engaging in insightful conversations, they emerged with a deeper appreciation for the marvels of space exploration and the interdisciplinary nature of modern science.
