Grievances Redressal Committee

As part of our constant endeavour to ensure transparency in all the activities at different stages, College provides proper mechanism to stakeholders for redressal of their grievances. This committee will deal with all the Grievances directly which are related to the common problems at Institute level both Academic and Administrative.

FUNCTIONING OF GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL COMMITTEE

  • The aggrieved member shall submit his/her petition to the Grievance Redressal Committee in a sealed envelope marked ‘confidential’. On receipt of a petition the Grievance Redressal Committee will endeavour to send its recommendation to the Principal for further action. In case of false and frivolous complaint (if proved), the Grievance Redressal Committee will recommend Principal/ Disciplinary Authority to take appropriate action against the complainant. Complaints dropped in the ‘Suggestion Box’ by stakeholders and parents and oral complaints are also redressed. All complaints are scrutinized by the management and the grievance redressal cell.
  • To maintain the anonymity of the aggrieved student/staff, the organization ensures confidentiality.
  • Mode for lodging complaints/grievances in the grievance redressal system includes oral complaints, letterbox/suggestion box/e-mail/etc. The function of the cell is to look into the complaints lodged by any student, and judge its merit. The Grievance cell is also empowered to look into matters of harassment.
  • Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the department members in person, or in consultation with the officer in-charge Stakeholders’ Grievance Cell. In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be dropped in writing at the letterbox/suggestion box of the Grievance Cell adjacent to the Merit list board at the Pharmacy College.   • Stakeholders’ Grievance Cell. Proposal on grievance redressal petition accepted. A suggestion/letter box was put-up and an e-mail id was also created.
  • The Grievance Cell will act upon those cases which have been forwarded along with the necessary documents.
  • The Grievance Cell will assure that the grievance has been properly solved in a stipulated time limit provided by the cell.
  • Any student or parents or staff member who wants to initiate a grievance may in the first instance bring the issue to the notice of the Head of the respective school/department/office, who will address the issue and try to resolve it within 7 working days of the receipt of the grievance.
    If, there is no response within the stipulated time from the respective school/department/office or grievant is dissatisfied with response/resolution to his/her grievance, then the grievant is free to represent his/her grievance to the University Grievance Redressal Cell.
  • If, the grievance is against the respective Head of school/department/office, then the grievant may directly submit his/her grievance in writing via email at grievance_pharmfaculty@jkkn.ac.in or submit via https://pharmacy.jkkn.ac.in/grievance-reporting-form/ available in https://jkkn.ac.in/ or in person at the Grievance Redressal Cell, to the Officer-In-Charge of Grievance Redressal Cell.

FOLLOW UP & MONITORING:

Grievance Redressal Cell shall coordinate, monitor and ensure redressal within the stipulated time. Depending on the seriousness of grievance the Grievance Redressal Cell will follow them up regularly till their final disposal by way of reminders.
