In 2019 our Pharm.D students were awarded in the National Entrepreneurship Summit and Idea Challenge. - Two teams from J.K.K. Nattraja College of Pharmacy participated in the Startup Tamil Nadu Residential Boot Camp-2018 .

STARTUP ENTERPRENEURSHIP SUMMIT AND IDEA CHALLENGE
September 20–22, 2019. The National Engineering College, Kovilpatti hosted a three-day national entrepreneurship summit and idea challenge on September 20, 21, and 22, 2019, under the sponsorship of the MHRD. Naziya Navas, Merin Shaji, Athira Roy, and Amitha Mary, our Pharm.D. students, attended the occasion and gave presentations of their ideas.
In the “BEST ACHIEVER’S AWARD – 2023,” Mr. M. Hariharan won the title of “Young Achiever’s Award” in recognition of his exceptional contribution in the areas of research and innovative idea management skills. Their creative innovation, Natural – Immuno Boosting Masks, won them second prize, the Student Innovators title, and a cash incentive of Rs. 20,000. They presented their proposal on October 30, 2021, at the StartupMania proposal Contest, which was organized by Nativelead, TBI-KEC, CII, YI-Erode, and YUVA.

Finale based on their performance in the boot camp, which focused on creating a prototype of an affordable medicated patch for diabetic foot ulcer patients’ diagnosis, protection, prevention, and first aid. The event took place at Anna University Regional Campus Coimbatore from February 11–13, 2019, as part of the Tamil Nadu Student Innovators (TNSI)-2018 state level program, which aims to develop the state’s entrepreneurial ecosystem (Entrepreneurship Development Innovation Institution) and raise awareness of the Government of Tamilnadu’s ideation, boot camp, and hackathon programs.
